And? Your Point Is?
It's always amazing to read the news online or watch the news on TV, especially when it's a "slow news day." Because slow news day is a synonym apparently with make up irrelevant crap and call it news.

You all know what I mean, right? TV news does those humanitarian puff pieces that they call news but really are just fabrications -- take some little orphan kid for a day on the town while interviewing them on why they're so awesome and should be adopted; show some three-legged dog that got rescued from Michael Vick's compatriots to hustle money out of you for PETA, the ASPCA, and your local animal shelters; talk about what celebrity got spotted at what grocery store chain in what neighborhood with whom; and scare you into believing that just about everything in the world can cause cancer (or, conversely, try to convince you that random things can cure or prevent cancer).

The Lead Failed Lives Present, "The Evils of AT&T"
So you've probably already heard that there's a large outcry against AT&T for cutting their Unlimited Data Plans for smart phones, such as the Apple iPhone. I'm not going to rant about that. I just logged into AT&T My Wireless, and I trend to using a maximum of 400 MB a month so far. I honestly thought I was a heavy iPhone user, but I guess not. So it really doesn't make a difference to me, at least at this time, so I'll consider that they're right about it not affecting 98% of customers and give them a pass on this one for judgement as evil. Besides, I'm grandfathered in to an unlimited plan as long as I don't change it.

I suppose if I was in a market for an Apple iPad, I might be a bit miffed that two months after product launch, the advertised unlimited 3G data plan for $30 a month non-contract which made the product sound so exciting is being pulled away. I'd honestly consider that a bait and switch. Okay, that's a little evil, but not a lot evil. It's kind of like Scott Evil, it's the Diet Coke of evil.
