Review: Apple iOS 4.0
Before we get into it, let me state one thing: This is not a review of the new Apple iPhone 4. I don't have one. I don't need one. I'm not even sure that I want one. Honestly, the iPhone 3GS I have is so great, I don't see a reason to be in a rush to upgrade. The only feature the new hardware has that sounds somewhat appealing to me versus the 3GS is to have a flash on the camera. I honestly can't believe it's taken Apple four revisions to put that on there, but I digress.
iOS 4.0. The new operating system for iPhone. Here are my observations about it.

Review: IOGear 2.4GHz Multimedia Keyboard (GKM561R)
Just over a week ago, I purchased this nifty gadget to use along with my desktop computer that I'd hooked up to my television to aid me in using the computer more effectively for my living room entertainment. (Short version: remote control) See, I had a wireless keyboard and mouse combo from Microsoft, but the range was so sort that it sometimes would skip a beat - using a mouse on a couch is awkward enough, but when it's got weak signal, it's near impossible.
Enter the GKM561R.

Review: Microsoft Windows 7 & Office 2010
I recently upgraded both my notebook system and my office desktop workstation to Microsoft Windows 7 and to Microsoft Office 2010. I performed upgrade installs from Microsoft Vista - on my notebook from Vista Business 32-bit to Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, and on my workstation from Vista Ultimate 64-bit to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.
The upgrade experience on both systems for Windows went pretty smoothly. On both systems, the installations took over two hours, which was probably the worst point I could make about the ordeal. So far, though, post-upgrade, I have found only one thing broken -- the drivers for a HP Elite Webcam. To HP's credit, a quick search of their website revealed that I needed a new driver CD. I plugged in my shipping address and they sent it right out, I didn't even have to pay for shipping charges as I didn't require expedited shipment. (As it stands, it only took about 3 business days to receive anyway.)
